The grade tool provides essential information to students on regarding their progress in your course. How and when this information is shared as well as the nature of the information it is shared can either guide student learning, foster anxiety or lead to a lack of engagement. This session will outline some key tips and best practices on using the Grade tool.

Talking Brightspace with Stephen Rankin and Paul Maher | Fridays 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm  

Each session will focus on a different tool for - or approach to - using Brightspace as a digital classroom. Stephen and Paul will review various characteristics and features of the platform and consider best practices in its application towards support student learning. Each session will also be an opportunity for attendees to share their insights and challenges. These sessions are open to all Saint Mary’s faculty, staff and teaching assistants.
