The Media Suite provides production services in support of faculty and staff, creating multimedia materials for use in their courses, as well as multimedia assistance to students working on academic projects. Multimedia projects have included the creation of introductory videos, production of audio podcasts, conversion of video presentations to CD-ROM and DVD formats, advertising for online courses, animated banners, and the creation of fully interactive multimedia presentations.
Software & Application Support Centre (SAS) staff are available to provide assistance to individuals during regular hours, in the Media Suite or elsewhere on campus (within reason).

Digital video file conversion from one format (e.g. AVI, FLV, MOV, MPEG, VOB, etc.) to another
Audio recording for podcasting with condenser microphones and audio interface
Real-time digitisation of VHS tapes
Digital audio file conversion from one format (MP3, WAV, DSS, WMA, AIFF, etc.) to another.
Screencasting (with/without audio)
Video/audio Conferencing for the purpose of podcasting
Lightboard recording (pending)
We offer training, either individually or in small groups, by appointment.

All bookings will need to be requested via our scheduling form. Please observe our calendar for openings (calendar and form pending, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, for now). No walk-ins permitted.
