The purpose of the workshop is to develop a deeper understanding of the nature of interpersonal communication in online environments, its challenges as well as its affordances, with a special emphasis on email communication. Participants will learn about mental models guiding interpersonal interaction in online environments. They will also engage in guided activities designed to develop concrete strategies for civil and equitable interaction in communication unfolding remotely. This panel is open to all Saint Mary’s University faculty, students, and staff.
