Digital Collaboration Toolbox

Facilitator: Paul Maher

Group and collaborative activities are an essential part of many courses but facilitating these in remote settings often requires the support of different digital platforms or specific processes. This session will review how to support brainstorming, planning, whiteboard activity, peer editing and small group activity. In particular, this session will showcase key workflows using Brightspace tools and several key third-party platforms that can be integrated within your Brightspace course, including Jamboard (G-Suite); Mural; Padlet; Teams (Office 365); Whiteboard.fi. Participants will be encouraged to share their experience and/or goals for facilitating group and collaborative activity when teaching with remote or blended delivery.
