Join Rene Arseneault, PhD candidate, and Professor Mandy MacArthur for a lunch-and-learn session about intercultural development.
Rene’s research interests are cross-cultural personality differences, cross-cultural adaptation challenges for expatriates, working in globalized multi-cultural societies, and using mixed methods to investigate cultural differences. Rene has lived overseas for many years and speaks four languages.
Mandy holds an Honours Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Religious Studies, both from Saint Mary's University, with a focus on Buddhist Environmental Ethics. Mandy has been a senior tutor and the Writing Help Online Coordinator at the Writing Centre for over 4 years. She is also a part-time faculty member of the Religious Studies Department at SMU, teaching courses in religion and religious experience.
