Faculty Webinar Series: Using Synchronous and Asynchronous Tools

The learning activities within remote and online courses can be structured as:

1. Synchronous activity, where learning is scheduled into a session at a specific time.

2. Asynchronous activity, where learning activities can occur anytime within a defined period.

Each approach has benefits and drawbacks. Session will cover various strategies and highlight best practices on how to achieve good balance within your course.

This is part of a series of webinars that build on the Brightspace Orientation for Faculty course.  Topics mirror course content and are held over a three-week period.  See below for a full list of sessions.  (Note: Repeat sessions will be scheduled throughout August.)

How to register:

Please register in advance by completing this registration form. Register once and you will be sent reminders of follow-up sessions.

You will also be automatically enrolled into the Brightspace Orientation for Faculty course. A link to these sessions will be added to the virtual sessions events page along with other webinar opportunities.
