As you know, the Writing Centre does not edit or check students’ work. It’s a place for academic supports and development of critical thinking and writing skills.   

In this session, we cover supports for students offered by the centre, including:  

• An overview of Writing Centre pedagogy and rhetoric 

• Services available to students and faculty  

• How to book a tutoring session  

• What online resources are available   

• Booking in-class sessions & WHO  

• An overview of Jump Start  

• EAP/ESL supports for additional language learners
