During this one-hour event, representatives from the McCall MacBain Scholarships will provide a brief overview of the scholarship program, eligibility criteria, and the application process, followed by a live Q&A with a scholarship representative and a current finalist.
As a McCall MacBain Scholar, recipients connect with mentors, develop leadership skills, and receive full funding to pursue a master’s or professional degree at McGill University. The scholarship covers tuition and fees, a living stipend of $2,300 per month during academic terms, summer funding options, and a relocation grant.
This is an in-person event. Registered participants will receive a copy of the presentation slides after the session. Register below to attend.
About the McCall MacBain Scholarships
Interested in mentorship, leadership development, and funding to start your next degree?
The McCall MacBain Scholarships are Canada’s largest leadership-based scholarships for master’s and professional studies. The program brings together students who strive to engage in positive change by taking on meaningful leadership roles.
The scholarship covers:
Tuition and fees for 150+ eligible programs at McGill University
A living stipend of $2,300 per month during academic terms
Summer funding options and a relocation grant
Mentors and coaching
A leadership curriculum
Up to 30 full scholarships and 100 one-time awards (ranging from $5,000 to $20,000) will be offered for 2026 admission. Two-thirds of the scholarships are available to Canadian students, and one-third to international students in Canada and abroad.
Selection criteria include:
Character, community engagement, leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, academic strength, and intellectual curiosity.
Timeline: Applications open on June 1, 2026 for Summer/Fall 2026 admission.
