The SMU Writing Centre invites graduate and honours students to join the Writing Room — a dedicated space to work on major writing projects in a supportive group setting.
The Writing Room includes:
Two Pomodoro-style writing blocks (2.5 hours each)
Individual check-ins with graduate writing tutors and research librarians
Access to SMU Writing Centre resources
Whether you're beginning a major project, developing your research, or preparing to complete your writing, the Writing Room offers accountability, camaraderie, and minimal distractions.
Bring your lunch — snacks, coffee, and tea will be provided.
