Support for your conference, symposium, or event

Web Services, Financial Services, and Academic Learning Services

If you are planning a conference or event that involves a registration fee, we are here to support and guide you in planning and processing your event.

To begin this process, please complete the Event Request Form below. If you have any problems, please contact Amanda Saoud Amanda.Saoud@smu.ca, Conference Planning Coordinator, Academic Learning Services

Once the form is submitted, Amanda will contact you to set up a meeting to discuss and begin planning your event.

Please note:
If the Conference is being held in conjunction with an external organization such as a regional or national association, a conference hosting agreement should be executed between the University and the external organization. The agreement establishes the scope of the conference, responsibilities for each party, insurance requirements, authorized signing authority for expenditure approval, and financial responsibilities in the event of a surplus or loss. The agreement should be signed by an EMG Member, the Saint Mary’s Conference Organizer and an authorized signing authority for the external organization.
