Facilitating an Online Synchronous Class

Synchronous sessions provide many benefits, offering high levels of social presence and immediacy between students and faculty. This session will showcase several strategies to facilitate active and engaged learning in online synchronous class sessions. 

After workshop participants will be able to: 

• ·         identify challenges and solutions with online facilitation, 

• ·         select effective and relevant strategies which can be modified to suit individual context.
