Location: ME 104 and ME 105
The Writing Centre is excited to present the fifth installment of the Dissertation & Thesis Writing Boot Camp—an excellent opportunity for graduate and honours students to focus on their major writing projects in a supportive group environment.
The boot camp provides:
Four two-hour “Pomodoro” blocks of writing time over two days
Individual check-ins with graduate writing tutors and research librarians
Faculty presentations on strategies in graduate project writing
Raffle prizes for participation
A take-home resource package with writing support, study and research tips
For students looking to jumpstart their writing, focus on their research, or sprint to the final touches, the boot camp offers a chance to work with accountability, camaraderie, and minimal distraction. Bring a lunch – snacks, coffee, and tea will be provided. While the event is directed to graduate students, honours students are also welcome to attend.
