How to Access Certificates and Badges
Your earned certificates and badges can be found in the Awards tool on Brightspace. You can access the Awards tool from both your course page and the Brightspace Homepage.
How to access Awards from your course
From your course page, click on Course Tools in the NavBar, then select Awards.
From the My Awards tab, you can see any Certificates and/or Badges you have earned.
Click on the title to open the award. From here you can:
Download a copy of a Certificate: To do this, click on Generate Certificate. This option will download a PDF copy of your certificates.
Share Certificates and/or Badges to LinkedIn: To do this, click on the Share option on the award. Then select Share to LinkedIn. Click Share to LinkedIn once more. You will then be redirected to login onto LinkedIn. Once you’re logged in, you can Save the credential to your profile.
If your course is now closed, you can access the Awards tool from the NavBar on the Brightspace Homepage.
How to access Awards from the Brightspace Homepage
From any course page, click on the University logo at the top left-hand corner to navigate to the Homepage. Alternatively, when you login to Brightspace, you are normally directed to the Homepage. Locate Awards on the NavBar. Once you get to Awards, you can follow the instructions above to download a certificate or share an award to LinkedIn.
