Implementing service learning in your course

  • Saint Mary's University, Atrium 216 (map)
Join Dr. Stephen Schneider, Criminology Graduate Coordinator, & Sarah Bray, Service Learning Placement Coordinator, for a discussion about how to implement a Service Learning pilot into your course and what support is available for faculty engaging with Service Learning at Saint Mary's. Elizabeth Spence, Assistant Curator of Interpretation at Museum of Natural History, & Will Hill, Volunteer Coordinator at Pathways to Education, will provide a Community Partner lens through a discussion of program needs that may be a good fit for service learning partnerships and their experience of working with students. Coffee and refreshments will be provided. For more information, or to RSVP, contact Service.Learning@smu.ca or call 902-491-6572.
