[Summer Program] LUT Summer School at LUT University, Finland

What about travelling to Finland for LUT Summer School and gaining a deep understanding of contemporary, relevant topics in the field of Climate Change, Sustainability, Creativity, Combination of Business and Technology, all the while experiencing the beauty of Finland in the summer?

 

LUT University is a Saint Mary’s partner institution in Lappeenranta, Finland. Saint Mary’s students are invited to take part in their LUT Summer School taking place from June 26-July 15 2023 (3 weeks). Credits from the program are transferrable to the extent that they fulfill the student’s degree requirements and need to be approved by the student’s academic advisor via a Letter of Permission before the program commences. Tuition is paid at SMU for the transfer credit hours (although the flyer states otherwise).

 

Bachelor and Master students in the fields of technology and business are invited to apply, but LUT Summer School offers mainly Master’s level courses. Interested students should submit the SMU Exchange Program application by February 15. Three (3) Saint Mary’s students will be accepted into the program.

NEOMA WINTER PROGRAMME 2023 - "Sport Federations and Major Events Management"

• DATES: January 23rd - February 10th, 2023

• CAMPUS : PARIS from January 23 to February 1 AND REIMS from February 2 to February 10, 2023 The programme is this year divided between both cities.

• FORMAT: Full-time, with mandatory social events organised as extra curricular activities

• LANGUAGE OF STUDIES: English

• TOTAL NUMBER OF ECTS: 12 (roughly equated to 6 credit hours at SMU, to be confirmed by SMU Records Office)

• APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

> Graduate level programme: Bachelor degree in a business (or closely related) discipline.

> Undergraduate level programme: Completion of at least one year of undergraduate level business classes.

 

Interested students should email global@smu.ca by December 1 2022. Tuition is paid at SMU for the transfer credits.

Summer 2022: Rennes School of Business, France

Rennes School of Business is excited to announce their summer programs open to exchange students. 100% taught in English! Students can come and study face-to-face in Rennes OR follow the courses online in asynchronous mode.

Courses offered include:

  • Cross-Cultural Management from 31 May to 10 June 2022. Nomination deadline : 5 April ; application deadline : 15 April 2022.

  • Sustainable Business from 14 June to 24 June 2022. Nomination deadline : 12 April ; application deadline : 22 April 2022.

  • Doing Business in Europe from 28 June to 8 July 2022. Nomination deadline : 19 April ; application deadline : 29 April 2022.

3 students sent on one summer programme is equivalent to 1 exchange semester slot, as per our Student Exchange Agreement.
