The Teaching Assistant Program in France gives you the opportunity to work in France for 7 months, helping young students (6 to 18 years old) to learn English! Apply by Feb 27.
Eligibility criteria
A Canadian citizenship or a citizenship of a country participating in the program and a Canadian permanent resident card
English as a first language
Aged between 20 and 35 years old at the beginning of the program (Oct. 1st each year)
Intermediate proficiency in French (minimum CEFR B1 level)
Completion of at least 2 years of university studies at the time of the application, in any field of study
Mostly schooled in Canada (up to high school)
Proof of motivation and French proficiency level provided by a current or former university teacher
Application and Conditions
Application dates: Late October to late February each year
Application procedure: Online, via the ADELE platform
Job duties: Assistants work 12 hours a week in up to 3 primary, middle or high schools (close to one another) They can assist English teachers, lead conversation classes, set up linguistic and cutural projects...
Work contract: Duration: 7 months
Dates: Oct. 1st to April 30th
The duration and dates are fixed and non negotiable.
Stipend: Approximately €820 (≈ $1300) net per month
