Announcement from the Ministry of Education in Taiwan

Two scholarship opportunities are open and available for Canadian students interested in studying in Taiwan.

 

  1. The Huayu Enrichment Scholarship supports students interested in studying Chinese in Taiwan on a short-term basis, ranging from three to twelve months.   2. The Taiwan Scholarship supports students interested in pursuing a university degree in Taiwan. Please refer to the official website https://www.roc-taiwan.org/ca_en/post/15333.html.

Program: Online Chinese Summer Program

 

Dates: Various dates from June-August 2021

 

Credits: contact your academic advisor to find out how many credit hours you can earn from the program and to learn how to complete the Letter of Permission Request Form.

 

Costs:

SMU students pay tuition at the host institution – no additional fees are assessed by SMU for the transfer credit hours (15% discount for international exchange students).

There may be other program/ancillary fees charged by the host institution.
