International Education Week is an annual celebration held in more than 100 nations around the world each year to highlight the important role that international education plays in fostering global citizenship.
This year’s International Education Week at Saint Mary’s (October 31 to November 4) will include a range of engaging online events and activities.

Submit a Proposal for BCIEW 2023!
BC International Education Week (BCIEW) provides an essential platform for the growth of BC’s international education sector. Do you have knowledge or new ideas to share about international education? Submit a proposal to speak at BCIEW 2023 in Victoria, BC!
This year, we are opening the call for two types of proposals.
Workshops: The workshop duration is a total of three hours. There will be an additional pre-scheduled 30-minute break halfway through the workshop.
Concurrent Sessions: The presentation duration is 60 minutes (45 minutes plus 15 minutes for Q&A).

Mobility, Partnerships, and Collaboration in a Multi-Polar World
Indigenous, Intercultural, and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in International Education
The Student Experience, Internationalization at Home, and Newcomer Communities in International Education
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Climate Action, and Ethical Internationalization
Please indicate the proposal type in your submission form. Deadline to submit a proposal is January 30, 2023.
